Hoping to travel from Colorado to Patagonia and am interested in 8 - 15 day trip.
Would love a Rick Steves format of travel. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I have never done a Rick Steves tour, so I have no idea what a Rick Steves format is. But We did a small-group Patagonia hiking tour with Mountain Travel Sobek a few years ago and I highly recommend them.
There were 9 people on the tour, with 2 guides and a driver in a spacious van. We visited both Chile and Argentina, and went hiking nearly every day, for 2 to 8 hours. The scenery is incredible. The hotels snd lodges were very nice, and the food wonderful, especially in Argentina. The guides were great snd the group really had a great time together..
They offer a variety of trips, from hiking-focused to multi-sport to cruising the fjords.

Odysseys Unlimited offers 3 tours to Patagonia. www.Odysseys-unlimited.com. The price you see includes round trip airfare from Miami. You can call them and get land-only fares, also. Their day totals include the departure date from the US, and arrival back in the US
Their tours are small-group, 12-24 people. We did a tour to South America with them just before COVID hit, and it was excellent. They include local experiences you would be hard-pressed to do on your own. Their local guides are always on the lookout for ways they can support the local culture with tourism. For example, in Rio, we went to one of the “crewe” workshops where they were preparing their float for the Mardi Gras parade. (Our tour manager emailed us later that they won 2nd place!) The workshops provide year round work for people who might not otherwise have a job. We had at least 4 such local experiences.
The hotels are a bit more upscale than Rick’s, and they handle the luggage which we weren’t looking for having been on a few Rick Steves tours, but it was handy because our tour included 5 flights.
Several people on our tour had done tours to Africa and Central America with them and said they were all amazing. We had tours to Costa Rica canceled early this year, and to Spain and Portugal canceled this fall. They refunded money immediately. We are traveling with Rick in the spring, but would love to do more Odysseys tours, too.
Another potential option is Overseas Adventure Travel. Their groups are a bit smaller than Rick’s, and like his, include interaction with local residents and cultures https://www.oattravel.com/tripsavailable?q=patagonia%20&icid=hpsbx%3Anosugclk%3A%3Auser-entered%3Apatagonia
