I tend to go to Lonely Planet first. It was published late 2025 to ensure it covered the new GEM museum. Fodor published a new edition last month and there is an indie publication published this month called Unlocking Egypt. It's more about traveling smarter with lots of tips and how to navigate the country than heavy on restaurants and hotels.
In 2024, we used "Moon Egypt" travel guide by Sarah Smierciak. The layout was similar to RS guidebooks. Very easy to use.
