I will be in Quebec City on a cruise on October 13th and 14th. Can you recommend a private guide with contact info? I want to see the most in the least amount of time. Actually 2 partial days. We are 2 couples, mid 60's very active. Kind regards, Michelle

Djany was the guide for a city tour I took as part of a Road Scholar tour. I thought she was an excellent guide. If you can’t find a guide, Quebec City is quite compact and easy to explore on your own.

Another idea is tours via audio guide. I booked a couple of short audio tours via Tours Voir Quebec, and it worked great to walk around on my own time, stopping and starting the audio as needed. I learned a lot of history and local color. The ones I picked were The Heart of Old Quebec - 45 min and The Fortifications - 1 hour.
