Hello, I’ll be in Xi’an for work and I want to squeeze in a visit to the terra cotta army in my limited free time. I’d like to have an English-speaking guide to get the most out of the experience, and I'll be traveling with my luggage having checked out of my hotel that morning before flying out in the afternoon. I think a private/custom tour would probably be best given my pretty specific logistical needs. Does anyone have any recommendations for good companies or experiences? Thank you!

Most business hotels will have a list of local guides whom they've already vetted to service their guests. Suggest just checking with the concierge who can probably recommend someone reliable.
The hotel will also have a car service to get their guests to and from the airport - might be able to book them for part of the day before they drop you at the airport for your flight.
