Can anyone recommend a company for a historical tour of Philadelphia. Prefer a group tour not private.
Haven't used a tour company but have visited Philadelphia a few times. It's a great historic city! The museum area is nice and of course the Independence Mall area. BTW you can get a great cheesesteak at the Reading Terminal Market.
My Son lives there and we have visited the city. If you stay downtown, you can do the city on your own easily.

Viator does tours there - I haven't used them in Philly but I have in many other cities and have never had a bad experience.
I am a Philly native. Viator does NOT do tours in Philadelphia, they are a service that will book you on tours for a fee--think booking.com for lodging. Instead, go to visitphilly.com. There is a ton of information on our attractions and tours that you can choose from directly, including self-guided tours.
Highly recommend this tour company that gives a different dimension and perspective to the usual history tour.

We did the Badass Women’s History tour and loved it.
