Peru - Salkantay Peak/Humantay Lake

Hello - I'd like to a day trip to Salkantay Peak/Humantay Lake with a tour company. I'm only seeing tours that go to Humantay Lake - is it not feasible in a day trip to go to both? Or what am I not seeing? Thanks,
