Anyone have any recommendations for a good online clothing store/site that would have nice, lightweight, easily washed and wrinkle-free clothes suitable for a hot Egypt trip?
Eddie Bauer, Columbia, Uniqlo.
I just bought this dress for a summer trip to Italy. It’s 100% cotton, dries overnight and has a crinkle texture so no need to iron. I sized down for a good fit for me.

I have several dresses and a long sleeve shirt in the same material from the Gap. I love it.
I hate nylon material, so most items advertised as “travel clothes” don’t work for me. Cotton or linen blends are much preferred. I have this skirt that I love also: The Drop Women's Patria Gauze Pull-On Ruffle Hem Maxi Skirt https://a.co/d/bMGQVno
Thanks for the suggestions!
What time of the year are you going. Yes, it is usually hot, but we did it in January and it was chilly, except in the early PM.
Be sure to wear long sleeves and full length pants to protect your skin from the sun.
Also, take a wide brimmed hat and sun glasses. Also, take sun block.
I wore khaki paints every day. Be sure to read solid shoes (no heels for women). The ground surfaces are uneven.
I just went to my local Fred Meyer and bought about 5 pairs of tops and pants for a trip to Egypt in October. You can check out what I wear in my photobook under my profile.
We are planning on going mid- to late-May
I was generally happier in natural fibers -- cotton or linen -- than synthetic fibers in Egypt. If I recall correctly, I wore a lot of Land's End t-shirts, a long sleeve cotton shirt from Columbia, and (washable) linen pants from Orvis.
You might also look at Coolibar. I’ve used their sun gloves for years and just got a jacket on a recent sale. I’ve not tried and of their pants or skirts.
It will go up to the mid-90s in May, but still be in the 60s in the night or early morning.
Make sure you cover your skin from the harsh sun.
Chicos is another store with lightweight wrinkle-free clothing, especially from their Travelers' Collection. I've been wearing their clothing for years when I travel and love them.
I highly recommend the Carve Designs Dylan Gauze shirt—it is pure cotton, lightweight, and the fabric is “naturally wrinkled” in a good way. Packs very small. It is available in many colors and patterns, and in a tunic length as well. Just make sure it is the gauze fabric, they also make a twill Dylan which is heavier.
Lots on sale on the Carve Designs website:

Here is the tunic length:
REI has the tunic length in a nice print in most sizes, ut full price.
Also try Amazon.
There's a line of clothes called Airism made by Uniqlo. It combines all the benefits of various cooling fabrics and is reasonably priced. No ironing needed.
I went in May as well. It will be hot! But a great trip. I just shopped my wardrobe. If you are from the south, or hot part of USA, then just use summer clothing; no need for special tactical gear. It is also dry, so thing dry out quickly - particularly if you put them near a fan or AC. However, I only need to launder for myself. Guy's clothing may take longer. Woven shirts rather than knits (T shirts) dry faster, and lightweight trousers, or long shorts. But if you want some new gear, I had some Eddie Bauer clothing in Costa Rica last week, and the travel shirts dried in 3 hours and the trousers overnight.
I’d check out the Duluth Trading Company store in Thornton
Another vote for Carve Design Dylan gauze shirt. They are wonderful for warm weather, packing and laundering. I bought mine from REI. I have the Dylan Milos navy stripe. It’s long sleeved, or you can roll. I have the extra small and it is a generous cut. Gauze is one of my favorite warm weather choices. I bought a white gauze tunic length top in Greece a few years ago. It convinced me that gauze is perfect for warm weather. Can hardly wait for some warm weather!
