Has anyone used the guide company In NYC "Get Your Guide"

I see no one has responded to your question.
What do you want to see in NYC? It's pretty easy to get around by subway, buses and taxi. If you tell us the location of your hotel and list your desired places, maybe some of us can tell how to get there. You may not need a guide company.

I googled "Get Your Guide" and was not impressed that they recommended both going to the top of the Empire State Building AND Top of the Rock. That's a waste of money and time; do one or the other. So I'm not impressed with them. Just my two cents.

I was try to compare tour companies, and I felt the same as a previous comment, they were recommending the same type of sights on the same tour. There trip advisor reviews have not been positive. Thank you for replying to my post,

My first trip to NYC I used the green Michelin Guide and just followed their recommendations.

I don't have experience with city tour guides, but I can't imagine any would give you a complete feel for the city. How long will you be visiting? Where are you staying? How "active" are you hoping your days will be?

You don't need a tour guide to get off the Subway at 34th street, checking out Empire state building/MSG, walking up to Times Square (/Bryant Park if you're inclined). You could even head up into Central Park, before hopping in an Uber downtown to see the Village. Or 9/11 Memorial.

If you're looking for the tourist experience, take a train/Uber to Canal Street. Walk until you hit Mulberry, than walk around Little Italy until you hit a restaurant that piques your interest. Then go see a show on Broadway.

I guess what I'm saying is, in NYC, there's a lot you can do on your own that would check many of the same boxes as a tour company.
