New Zealand-nZeta Photo Requirements

Hi All,
Applying for an nZeta for February 2023 travel. Am bamboozled by how best to get a photo that complies with nZeta requirements:
500 KB-3MB; 900x1200x3000 pixels; JPG/JPEG (that's the ez part).
Checking casual photos on my iPhone-none of them fit these minimal requirements. nZeta recommends a "prof photog" (Walgreens?).

Secondly, unclear to me whether each individual traveling needs their own nZeta or are multiple persons traveling together apply for just one?
Would very much appreciate your advice, because this appears the most difficult part of the process.

We are on our trip in New Zealand now so we did this recently. Each person needs a separate form and photo. The photo was difficult. The hardest part was getting the face proportion correct.

We had to take a specific photo for this using our Samsung 22. We used selfies and we had to not care how we looked. The size of the photo itself wasn't so much of an issue. When we got the face proportion right the photo was accepted and it uploaded. It was a hassle but trial and error worked.
By the way, the hassle was worth it. We are loving New Zealand! Good luck.

Has anyone used "visafoto.com" https://visafoto.com. Setup includes country specific requirements and they get good ratings on Trust pilot.
I spent 2 hours trying to retouch a photo (I looked like bride of frankenstein) and then gave up. All those requirements!

Hi All,
Just so you all know: if you use the nZeta app on your phone, it takes the photo for you! My nzeta was issued in seconds.

So use the app: I wasted countless hours trying to figure out how to get the photo right. Too bad the NZ immigration site didn't include this vital information!
