Hi All,
Going to North Island 2/4-2/17/23-seeking comfortable, quiet lodges that can book/offer: guided hikes, culinary, cruising. Simple lodges that are comfortable without being over the top luxury, offering very nice amenities, and very good sleeping beds!
Thinking 2-3 lodges over the 2 weeks where we can join day trips sponsored/booked by the accommodation or easily bookable in advance. $300-$500 night max.
Thinking Rotura, Cape Brett (easy hiking), Huka Falls, Tongario Park, Wairmere Waterfall: 3 or so locations offering relaxed walking/hiking, not steep elevations/descents.
