For all of the culture hounds who keep a thumb on upcoming events , these three venues upcoming ( one current ) will be worth a visit here in NY City - Morgan Library https://www.themorgan.org/exhibitions/belle-da-costa-greene The Met https://www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions/sargent-and-paris and especially for people who love the printed page , a show about the iconic literary weekly , now a century since its birth https://www.nypl.org/events/exhibitions/new-yorker-100-preview
Thanks Steven. Youngest granddaughter is a student at Sarah Lawrence College. I’ll let her know and hope to encourage her art museum experiences. We found out on our 2019 trip to Italy that her older sister could spend all of her day in museums and the then 14 year old lasted about 30 min. She has since expanded her interest so there is hope. I’ve encouraged her to go to the Met to find the pieces by a relative by marriage, La Farge, and that interested her, especially the family connection to the Monuments Men.
