Morocco Tours - What to know before booking?

My family of 7 adults and 3 children are looking for a tour to Morocco next month, and I'm wondering what are the most important things to know before booking our Morocco tour. Online I have seen some Morocco tours offered by international and local Moroccan tour companies and I have the following questions :

  1. The local Moroccan tour companies are reliable?
  2. Can a local Moroccan tour company book flights as well?
  3. Can an international tour company offer a private Morocco tour or only shared groups?
  4. It is safer to book a local or international company?
  5. What is the average price for a private Morocco tour for 10 days - 10 people?
  6. Is it safe to pay a deposit to book our Morocco tour by PayPal/Card?
  7. It is recommended to pay the full amount to an international company before the tour starts?
  8. What is recommended for the travel insurance?
  9. Credit cards are accepted everywhere in Morocco?
  10. What are the benefits of using an international vs. a local Moroccan tour company?
  11. Did someone use/heard about those companies: Intrepid Travel - www.ntrepidtravel.com (international) / Morocco Excursions - www.morocco-excursions.com (Local) / On The Go Tours - www.onthegootours.com (International) / Nomalor Travel - www.NomalorTravel.com (Local)?

I am not familiar with Moroccan companies, but have had fantastic results from Gate 1 Travel.
Check out some of their tours. Compare prices and itineraries as well as hotels.

Desert Majesty has been mentioned in this forum. Also, Rick has a Monday Night Travel (MNT) video, dated November 13, 2023 about his trip last year to Morocco. He mentions the compamy he used.

Thank you so much for the recommendation, but due to limited time I have booked Morocco Excursions - www.Morocco-Excursions.com (local company) my only concern is that they asked only for 100USD as deposit, saying that they ask for small amount because of PayPal taxes.

I use American Express (I have a card) and buy medical coverage and medical evacuation. For about $60 for two or three weeks, I can get great coverage for both wife and self.
