Our planned tour seems to have fallen through and time is runnning short to find another one!
In short: We would like a tour company out of Marrakech for nine days or less. We do not want to go to Casablanca. Does anyone know of reliable tours that they'd recommend?
I see that most Morocco guided tours are longer than you want. But if you enjoy trekking, this tour starts and ends at Marrakech and takes exactly 9 days.

The next departure is in September but there are more offered in 2023. We have used MT Sobek for hiking trips in Patagonia and Japan, and I can highly recommend the company itself. We are planning to return to Japan with them next year.
I haven't been to Morocco. However, one of this summer's RS Monday Night Travel shows focused on traveling in Morocco and featured a guest presenter named Lucas Peters (see https://www.ricksteves.com/travel-tips/travel-classes/monday-night-travel/morocco). Lucas lives in Morocco and specializes in custom tours of his adopted country. All his tours are custom tours (no set tour dates) which was a bummer for me (I usually travel solo and wished to sign up for a group tour).
