Morocco Tour Operators

I’m looking for recommendations for a small-group Morocco tour and would especially love to hear from anyone who has traveled recently. Any tour operators you’d recommend?
Thanks!

We worked with Wild Morocco in 2019 and were very well cared for. My brother worked with them just last fall and also had a great trip.

Imprint Tours (started by a former Rick Steves guide) has tours to Morocco. I highly recommend them.

I did a 10-day private tour with Morocco family vacation company with my family recently, and we had a fantastic time. Even though it wasn't a "group" in the traditional sense, having a private driver and guide gave us a similar level of support but with much more flexibility.

I experienced a fantastic 13 day tour in Morocco in Nov 2024 with OAT, Overseas Adventure Travel. There were 14 people in our group. I think the group maximum is 17. Everyone in our group was very happy with guide and itinerary. Plus there is no single supplement charged by OAT for this and many of their tours. Check out their website for specifics.

@darren--no, we had a guide named Mustaphe, but I get the sense that most of their guides are great!

Hi,

For a small-group Morocco tour, I would recommend checking a few things before booking: recent reviews, whether the tour is private or shared, the quality of the riads/hotels, what type of desert camp is included, and whether local guides in Marrakech and Fes are part of the price.

A good 8–10 day route could be:
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert – Fes – Chefchaouen – Casablanca or Tangier.

If you are travelling recently, also ask about driving times, as Morocco is beautiful but some routes can be long.

Happy to help with itinerary ideas for Morocco

I've been following this thread with great interest. We are mostly independent travelers, but we'd like to do Morocco with a tour. The trip I'm envisioning is February or March, a week or so on our own in Southern Spain and than 10-12 days in Morocco. I'd really like to see, Chefchaouen, in particular. I realize that its a geographic outlier, but I'm not really seeing tours that include it. Imprint does it, but the appear to do only one tour and in the fall.
