Heading to Morocco in late October this year for what will be a short trip before we have to return to U.S. Not counting book ending travel days, we will be on the ground in Morocco for just 5 full days. Would likely stay in Fes for most of the time, but would like 1 night somewhere different (was thinking about Chefchaouen as it is too far for a day trip, but open to other ideas for an overnight - or suggestions for day trips from Fes, such as Meknes, if there is not much to see along the way between Fes and Chefchaouen).
Also, can anyone recommend a private guide/driver? There are just 2 of us (traveling companion also a woman and neither of us wants to deal with driving).
Finally, any recommendations for riads in Fes and/or Chefchaouen?
