Morocco: Private car or taxi? transportation airport to Riad and back

Hi everyone,
Please share if you have experience booking and using private driver transportation services and/or airport taxi services in Morocco. My partner and I are traveling to Morocco this October. We need to be picked up at Rabat airport and taken to our Rabat riad. A couple weeks later we need a driver to pick us up from our riad in Essaouira and driven to the Casablanca international airport.

If you have done something like this, do you have a reliable, safe, trustworthy car service to recommend, especially for the trip up to Casablanca? It is four hours between Essaouira and Casablanca and we have an early afternoon flight to catch to Amsterdam. I am looking for recommendations that will give me peace of mind so we won’t miss our flight. We may even consider leaving Essaouira the night before our flight so we’re double sure to get to the airport. Thanks for any tips you can offer.

As far as Rabat is concerned, ask your Riad to arrange transportation to/from the airport-they know and am sure they have done this for others to their location.
Essaouira it almost easier, as there is a daily bus to/from the Casablanca train station; in Essaouira at the bus station , you will be met by men with carts that fit in the narrow streets and are very trustworthy and cheap. Again, your Riad can arrange one if you wish to and from where the bus stop. The return bus leaves very early for the Casablanca train station, and you can pick-up a taxi to the airport.
Finally be sure to take about $100 in new, crisp $1 and $5 bills as they are happily accepted by both shops and street vendors' as rates better than the posted exchange.
