Hello!
Me and my wife (F26+M27) are from Portugal and will travel Morocco for 2 weeks in December/January. We are relying on regular public transport for most of the intercity transport but for the Marrakesh > Merzouga > Fez part of it (the part closer to the Sahara) we want to stop in many places along the the way and we prefer going at our own pace instead of joining a guided tour. We are experienced travellers and avoid guided tours whenever that's easy and safe (they are most times costly for bad value).
As such, we are going to do it in one of two ways:
1. rent a car and fill it with 4/5 people
2. hire a car with a driver and fill it with 3/4 people
This will happen for 2/3 days somewhere between the 26th and 29th December. As such, we are looking for people who'd like to join us in this trip, having a great time while reducing costs by sharing expenses.
These are the main things we thought of visiting on the way, although they are subject to discussion:
Anima (André Heller Garden) > Ait Ben Haddou > Atlas Film Studios > Ouarzazate > Dadès Gorges > Merzouga Dunes / Erg Chebbi > Azrou Cedar Forest > Abandoned French Tuberculosis Sanatorium
Both the decision between options 1 and 2 and the exact itenerary can be discussed as a group :)
