Any advise on a day trip from Gibraltar to Morocco this coming October? We could make it a day or 2
We have booked a cruise out of Barcelona and are planing visiting Gibraltar several days before we sail

Ferries from Gibraltar to the port of "Tangier Med" run only once per week and leave you at least 30 km from the city of Tangier. Departures from Algeciras serve the same port. For foot passengers, the more frequent and convenient ferry service is between Tarifa and Tangier. See http://www.andalucia.com/travel/ferry/home.htm, for example.

We went to Tangier for a day last May, leaving from Tarifa. Easy. Its all laid out in the RS Spain guidebook with suggested guides if you are interested in that. We had visited Gibraltar for the day then took a bus from La Linea to Tarifa in the late afternoon or early evening so we were ready to get the ferry the next morning. Have a great trip.
