Greetings! My family and I will be visiting Montreal in mid-August. We have two children, 5 and 3 years old.
Is there a part of the city that would be ideal for children where I should look for a hotel? I was considering hotels near the city center, but thought staying further from downtown, like closer to Mount Royal Park, might be better. I am open to any suggestions anyone may have, including alternatives to a traditional hotel. Thanks.

Hi there,
It can get quite hot & humid in Montreal in August...so maybe do a search for hotels with a pool?
Could be fun for the kids. I believe Hilton Bonaventure has one...not sure what your budget is.
There is a lot of activities for kids and adults near the Old Port too so maybe consider that also.
