Money Transfer Question

We need to transfer a relative large sum on money to pay for touring services, we have done our due diligence, but banks use such an unfavorable conversion rate that the transfer becomes quite expensive. Has anyone had experience with XE.com or other similar money transfer companies? Thank you.

We used wise.com formerly transfer wise in 2019. We transferred one nights stay for a flat we rented. We spoke to our banker prior and she advised wise.com (formerly transfer wise.) Great experience for us. We would use them again.

I have used wise twice in the last couple of months - all worked like a charm, with a fee far lower than my bank will do and it did a good job of guiding me where to enter all the necessary information.

I've used Xoom a couple of times to do bank transfers for lodging deposits. They are part of Paypal, all went well and I was happy with their service.

I've used Wise in past years and used it again this spring to pay for a week's lodging in Switzerland. I highly recommend it.

I know a lot of people who move funds from the US who are very happy with Wise.

We've used Wise (Transferwise) for years - if anything, it's even faster and more efficient now and can save you a lot of money in conversions.

Another vote for Wise. We used it in 2019 to secure our first nights stay at our flat in Budapest. We would not hesitate using Wise again.
