I saw an article from the Denver Post at the beginning of this month about an upcoming Monet Exhibition at the Denver Art Museum, 125 works from across the world, in conjunction with a museum in Pottsdam, Germany. Question(s) for those in Denver, please..... I know it's normal for members to have the first chance to buy tickets. The museum's website indicates that sales to the general public begin at 10:00 AM, MDT on June 25th. How are the odds that this will sell out? How are the odds that there would be any same day tickets available on down the line? There is no pricing information given, when might that be available? We have tentative plans for a cross country drive, but those details are still so way up in the air, and will be for some time. Thank you all. Donna
Not from Denver but you can chat directly with the museum on their website

There may be certain days and times that sell out, but I doubt everything will be sold. Weekdays will probably be sparsely attended. Of course, as with any similar exhibit, the sooner you book the better your options.
We are members so we are not buying general admission tickets. Our limited experience is that weekends tend to get very busy but weekdays can be pretty slow. We generally use our membership to go mid-week and never encounter a big crowd. We probably could be persuaded to buy tickets for you. No idea if it would sell out or not.
Thank you all for your replies.
I do wish it was possible for us to book well in advance, but our fall plans are not at all firm, so we cannot.
Frank, that's a very generous offer, but I have to pass until we know more.
I emailed the Art Museum about the availability of tickets a few weeks ago. Here's the reply I received: MEMBER PRESALE FOR MONET

Keep an eye out in the mail for more detailed information arriving soon.
I am also a member and looking forward to seeing this awesome exhibit! I hope this isn't TMI and answers your question!
Great to hear about the Denver exhibition.
If any Impressionist fans are traveling the east coast this summer just a note that the Philadelphia Art Museum’s summer exhibition features a rearrangement of their Impressionism collection and some works by these painters that rarely see the light of day.
Well, the exhibition opened this past Monday. Has anyone gone? Can anyone offer any comments? Thank you.
Coming back from Europe tomorrow, been away for almost 2 months, and looking forward to seeing the exhibition. The DAM (Denver Art Museum) is the only place in the Western Hemisphere where it will be showing.
