It's really interesting to me to see little quirks like this- and what might have been if it was not for air bridges.

Those certainly beat the hassle of busses to and from the plane. I'd love that as an alternative
I was just through Montreal and didn't notice these there. They look fairly new compared to the ones in DC that have been there for years. I've ridden those many times in the past, and it certainly does beat taking a shuttle bus.
