Hello,
I'd like to spend 4+ days with a small-ish group tour in Mexico City exploring history and food. Some organized tours I've looked at don't allow enough time in the city (for example, I'd like to be able to spend more than one day at the museum) before moving on to another locale. I also don't want to be completely on my own to schedule my own day-by-day local tour guides. Does anyone know a local (Mexican) tour company that organizes such multi-day tours?
Thanks for your help.
Bernice
Hi Bernice, I hired Vibe Adventures for a private day tour to the Anthropological Museum and the guide was wonderful. I have also taken virtual tours with this company and all of the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. While it doesn't look like they have multi-day tours only in Mexico City, I'm sure they'd be happy to create a customized tour for you. Otherwise I've taken a US-based group tour to Mexico (Oaxaca, Puebla, and Mexico City) that was well done (Go Ahead Tours) and employed a local Mexican guide - check them out if you're interested.
Don't miss the Archaeological Museum and amazing pyramids of Teotihuacan.
I have been to Mexico on last December. I was also looking for information and ended up having guided tour as well. I hired the guy from https://gowithguide.com/mexico/mexico-city They can customize multi day tour for you. For my suggestion, You should visit Museo Nacional de Antropologia and Casa Azul. It will be worth of your time there.
