Mexico City and day trips - Tour Guide

It looks like we might have time for a 4 day layover in Mexico City in July 2020. Weather will have to be irrelevant as our timing is set in stone.

I've chosen a hotel and see there's tons of sites. I want to do two day trips outside of Mexico City - very generally they are Teotihuacan and then a second trip that I plan to hash out with our guide. I might also book someone to take us on an architectural tour of the city - I see many guides on ToursByLocals offer this. (I've looked there - none of the licensed guides there really grabbed my attention.)

Does anyone have a guide they like? I'm thinking about using this Jorge Mendoza (great reviews on TripAdvisor: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g150800-d3949016-Reviews-Mexico_Private_Tours-Mexico_City_Central_Mexico_and_Gulf_Coast.html).

But he doesn't have a website, which makes me a little nervous.

Have any of you used Jorge or someone else they like? We'll be a group of two, only interested in private tours.

Thanks:)

Valerie, I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions on guides--we did four days in Mexico City plus a day trip to Teotihuacan independently last March. Just want to say it's a great place. We went to the Anthropology Museum twice (3 hours each) and only saw about 60% of it. If you want to go to the Frida Kahlo museum--buy your tickets in advance--we weren't able to get in. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhoods--Condesa, Roma, Coyoacan, etc.

Try and also fit in the Basílica de Guadalupe. After the Vatican no other Catholic site in the world receives as many pilgrims.
Also consider a soccer match at Aztec Stadium; one of the largest stadiums in the world, tickets for Club America matches can be had a Ticketmaster Mexico.
