Marrakech, Morocco

I will be traveling to Marrakech in Morocco. Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay in a good location that is around $100 - $125 per night?

Thank you!

Most important is to decide if you want to stay within the Medina (old town) where cars are not allowed, or at the newer part of town with traditional/western style hotels.

We quite enjoyed Riad Les Oliviers and Spa (https://www.riadlesoliviers.com/en). I think we paid more like EUR 150 so just a bit outside your range, but it had nice extras like a rooftop pool and restaurant, and a spa if you're into that kind of thing. In the eastern part of the medina - easy walk to Djemaa el Fnaa and the souks - but with easy access to one of the gates so you can get a cab to within about 150 m of the hotel.

Thanks for the responses thus far. I'm willing to spend more. I think we would like to stay within the Medina, but we're very flexible.

I’d recommend booking your riad as soon as possible. April is the peak season, and as we were told during our visit, it fills up fast! We stayed at Riad Les Remparts De La Kasbah, which was arranged for us by our tour company, and we really enjoyed the experience.
