We will be visiting Marrakech in October of 2020 planning on staying in the Medina with a day trip to Essaouira and then onto the Sahara at Mezourga.
How many days in Marrakech would people recommend?

In January this year, we stayed 4 nights and 3 days in Marrakech at the beginning of our Morocco trip, and that included an all-day food market/cooking class. At the end, we spent another 2 nights and 1 day before heading home. We had a stay in Fes and a desert excursion in between. Plan on 3 days at the least.

Thank you. Just what I was thinking. Planning on 4 nights on arrival to Marrakech one day of which will be an all day outing to Essaouira. And then an additional 2 nights upon return after the camping in the Sahara.
