Has anyone have any suggestions on staying in Malta for a month as far as location. We will be renting a condo and grocery shopping is a consideration.
We are trying to choose between Senglea and Marsaskala. We enjoy going out after dinner and walking around the local area and squares but think Marsaskala might be a bit too quiet. At the same time we aren't interested in clubs and parties. Suggestions what each has to offer.
We have stayed in Nerja in Spain and it was perfect ( thank you Rick for the recommendation!)

We visited Malta for a month last April. Loved it. We rented 4 apartments for one week each in Valletta, Victoria (Gozo), near Mdina, and Marsaskala. We are a 70 year old couple, not interested in nightlife, who do a lot of walking, enjoy historical areas, nature and people watching. Marsaskala was nice but our least favorite of the four cities. Good for 4-5 days, not a whole month. Mostly small mini market stores since you asked about grocery shopping.
