Looking for warm weather destinations in February outside of the United States

We’re looking for a warm weather destination in February that’s not Mexico, Florida or the Caribbean. Any suggestions?

We went to New Zealand this past January. It was lovely. Another option would be Australia.

What is warm to you? Do you want to swim in the ocean or just not have to wear a coat? Morocco and the south coast of Spain come to mind.

We went to southern Spain last February, and I am going back next February. We liked our itinerary: Malaga, Estepona, Cadiz, Sevilla, Madrid.

New Zealand is phenomenal. Also consider Australia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

csette663,
Have you thought about Sicily? And February is a good time to visit Egypt. We were there in Feb, 2019 and the weather was perfect, especially on the Nile. Also, Chile.
Bonne chance and bon voyage!

Everyone I know from this part of Germany and France heads to the Canary Islands. You can get package deals for less than $100/day including airfare. All inclusive, or half pension, adults only; it's very popular.

Consider South America, it cheaper than most anywhere in the World.

My favorite countries are Peru, Argentina and Chile.
Do a cruise around the Horn of SA, but stay a few days at the beginning and end of the cruise.
Also, Peru is fantastic, but wait until after the rainy season, which would be in April. Cuzco and Machu Picchu are super.

If you don't want SA, then consider Egypt it is cheap and loaded with great history.

I agree that New Zealand is a great place to visit in winter (N. Hemisphere winter that is) but in my opinion you have to go for at least 2 weeks to make the long haul flight/s worth it. With enough time it would be the top of my list.

I was in Lisbon in early February this year. I wouldn't say it was lay-on-the-beach warm, but it was definitely short sleeves warm. Cool (not cold) in the mornings, warm and sunny during the day.

Australia is warm - hot that time of year. South East Asia too. So many options TBH, more info might get you better suggestions.
