Long Beach - shuttle, limo or Uber?

I need to arrange a ride from Long Beach airport to Huntington Beach. Would it be better to order an Uber after I pick up my luggage or arrange for a private shuttle/car to pick me up? Some of the private car services seem to have comparable prices to Uber, if I am not getting anything too fancy. Thanks!

Going to Huntington Beach from that airport is not an unusual route so it probably doesn't matter very much price-wise what you pick.

The two factors that come to my mind are timing, because the van services might circle around until they have a few pickups going to Huntington Beach, while a Lyft would be on its way as soon as you get in --

But (there's always a but) there are a lot of spare-time drivers (as opposed to more experienced drivers) for Uber and Lyft working the area, and the odds of getting a driver who doesn't know wth they are doing are a little higher than typical, while a van driver will know the routes.

I live near the LB airport and you should have no trouble with Lyft (which I use) or Uber. Distance isn't that great. The airport is o the side of L.B. close to Orange county.

just an fyi...the vans don't circle around LB airport as they do at LAX. It is a much smaller (and wonderfully convenient!) airport. You would have to prearrange a shared van ahead of time and the price wouldn't be better than Lyft or Uber. Taxis are also available, but it's been a while since I have used one, so I don't know prices. Depending on the time of day traffic to HB could be slow, but it is only 15 miles from the airport, depending on where in HB you are headed.

P.S. Order your Uber or Lyft after you get your luggage. There is a dedicated lane for pick-ups by Uber, etc.
