Sorry not exotic locale.. but looking for a nice hotel for a family gathering in the Fremont area of old Vegas. Any ideas welcome.

I don't think you can go wrong with a classic like the Golden Nugget. Friends who like Downtown Las Vegas always recommend it. I have only stayed at the big Strip hotels. Good luck.

Don't get a hotel. Use the short term rentals like aircrew do.
