We are a family of five adults heading to Vegas in March for a birthday celebration weekend. Holy cow, hotel prices are a killer. We need three rooms on the strip. Wondering if there are any two- or three- bedroom suites that might be cost efficient? May also try air bnb /vrbo. Thanks for any ideas/suggestions.
Rooms at the Tuscany are big and it's close enough to the strip. Don't eat at their dining facilities, though.
The only place I have stayed with six adults that was large enough was the Marriott Grand Chateau which is a Marriott Vacation Club. While this is typically reserved for timeshare owners, they do open up to the general public. We are not timeshare owners. They are right off the strip, about a five minute walk to the Cosmopolitan with easy access to other casinos.
They have both two and three bedroom suites, no resort fees, free valet parking. Their gym is amazing and they have a lot of free food type of options (it varies from wine tasting in the evening to free donuts in the morning). There isn’t a casino, but it is smoke free and a short walk from Casinos.
Normally I would stay on the strip, but our friends were looking for something less expensive at the high season than other hotel options, and this was a good choice. I would stay there again.
What is your budget and for how many nights? A weekend can be two or three nights.
Try Booking.com. I did a search and it looked like there were many reasonably priced rooms on Booking. They also offer other kinds of lodging besides hotels.
But be cautious of Resort Fees. Read the fine print. You might find a room for what seems reasonable but if you read the fine print of what is not included, there are shockingly high resort fees. It's a bit of a scam.
Las Vegas is so much fun. And I do suggest staying on the strip.
I've also stayed at the Tuscany avirosemail mentioned. I thought it was a good facility and location is walking distance to the strip.
Thank you, all. You’ve given me great ideas. Much appreciated! Happy holidays.
Don't stay on the strip, stay just off it on Paradise. There are some really good furnished apartments they use as short term rentals for aircrew and conventioneers. Much better than staying in a casino, and cheaper.
