Kuala Lumpur- lodging recommendations.

We’re hoping to go to Kuala Lumpur fo a few days on our train journey from Singapore to Bangkok. Does anyone have a recommendation for a centrally located hotel? We’d like air conditioning, of course. We’d like to spend under $100 per night. We’ll be going during the high season (November to March). Thanks!

You won't have any trouble staying within budget.... Presumably you will want to stay close to the rail station so take a look at the InterContinental. That should meet your needs.
If you were looking for something farther away there are quite a few spectacular resort hotels located towards the airport. These will be in the same basic price range but will require long cab rides both coming and going.

Suggest looking at booking.com as a starting point. The map feature and associated filters are handy for narrowing down your search based on price, specific locations within the city, etc.
There are some very nice lodging options in KL at very reasonable prices, so you shouldn't have much difficulty staying within budget. The area near the Petronas Towers is quite nice, with upscale shopping and restaurants only a short stroll from the hotels. All will have A/C. Taxis are plentiful and cheap for getting around town.

Thank you for recommendations. Realized I should look at the transit routes from the train station. We are traveling with a wheelchair, so want to be sure we pick a place on a direct route. Would be nice to find a place with a balcony or at least window that opens. Sure looks like there are many hotels.
