Kenya Safari

Hi

We are planning our second safari to Kenya during August...any recommendations for hotel, game drivers...we want to go to the Mara. Any recent suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks.

The owner of VacationsToGo.com is The Man when it comes to safaris'. Sign into Vacations' website and look at the top right block where you can redirect to their Safari website.

My sister went on an airplane safari where everyone flew their own Cessna P210 in formation with others from base camp to base camp throughout the region and over to Victoria Falls. .

I researched and planned our Kenya/Tanzania safari for July/August this year during the Great Migration.

I found a highly rated tour company that will provide us with a 9 day private tour (1 night in Nairobi, rest on safari) for four persons. Price about $4500 per person. We stay in premier (top level) hotels and lodges. It is pretty much all inclusive except for a couple of optional items (minor cost).

The firm is Good Earth Tours.

Other firms with high quality and great prices were GOWAY Tours.

TWIGA TOURS 12 days

I also found Gate 1 had a really good price for a safari.

Not too sure what your budget is, but we stayed here-

We were extremely happy with it. Great guides and got to see everything we wanted. We stayed in the Safari tents and they were very comfortable. The food was excellent and plentiful. This is a great place to stay if you are on a lower budget.

At the end of the day, I saw the same animals that people who stayed in luxury camps did.
