We have a flight MS986 on Egyptair from JFK to Cairo departing about 5:30 PM. The flight was booked for us by Gate 1 as part of a tour of Egypt.
We had to book our on flight from JAX to JFK, which arrives several hours before the Cairo flight departs. I planned that, in case our flight to JFK was delayed.
Checking some JFK websites, I see that our MS986 flight departs from Terminal 1, but when one JFK website tells us that our Check in for Egyptair is at Terminal 4. That just happens to be the terminal that we arrive from our JAX flight.
This is usual, but the website also does not show an Egyptair checkin at Terminal 1 ???
I have found it difficult to communicate with Egyptair, can anyone explain this strange situation?
