Japan: looking for advice on recommended tour guide that would do trip itinerary for just my wife and i, setting us up with local guides in each city.

I have not used a guide or company that helps with the itinerary, but I have seen some recommended on the TripAdvisor Japan Forum. There is also a regular poster, JapanCustomTours, that does this professionally guiding and advising and also generously shares his advice with TA DIY posters who have questions. (I think JapanCustomTours is male, I could be wrong.)
You might ask your question there or read through recent posts on TA. Also do a search on this forum - I think there have been recommendations.

We’re looking to do the same type of trip but with 4 people. I’ve been looking at InsideJapan’s website. I haven’t contacted them yet as we are looking at 2025 and I’m too busy planning 2024’s trips.
