It's not just foreign travel

Got an email from the family camp in the Sierras we attend every June (35+ years!) saying they are still figuring out what to do this summer. Usually the deadline for cancelling with full refund is February 28 -- that has been extended to April 30 this year.

At least we have no transportation tickets to deal with -- just fill the car with sleeping bags, clothes, boots, toiletries, towels and drive a few hours. (DD will be flying in from Seattle, but her flights are on Southwest which always has good cancel and rebook policies.)

For anyone who wonders -- Cal Lair of the Bear, Camp Gold, week 2.

We're not letting our teens go to their summer camps: music, sports, art. The next 6 months look very bleak for them.
I wouldn't go (Im a Bear :) ). With the rate of spread in the Bay Area and the inevitable waves that will keep passing through probably for another year, and the silence of symptoms - a summer camp seems like a petri dish to me

My girlfriend and I had to cancel our annual spring weekend away, this year to Carmel. We're going to have our own little wine tasting over Skype instead.
