Israel, Christian tour

Hi all. Been searching past several weeks for a good, reliable tour company that provides Christian tours of the Holy Land, tours that are more like pilgrimages, very much focused on the spiritual, Christian experience, and include options like mass, wedding vows in Cana, baptism, etc. We're a mixed couple - me Presbyterian, she Catholic. So, looking for something in between (ha-ha), but probably leaning more toward a Catholic-orientation. We've looked at 206 Tours, EO Catholic, American Israel Tours, Pilgrim Tours, Collette. Any comments on those companies appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions, etc.

I have heard about something called The Walk of Abraham. Do not know much about it.

Years ago, I heard of a man who had cancer and was about to take this pilgrimage from one of his employees.

Ron, we've not been but several family members have gone on spiritual tours. My suggestion is to see if your local Catholic community or parish has a regular newsletter or weekly bulletin. There are usually ads for tours and tour companies, many upcoming with a local priest leading the local group (I think he gets a free tour for using his name, not actually organizing it).

I went on an EO tour to Israel and Jordan. It was with a group and pastor from a local church. (I’m not a member of that church, but have friends who are, so I knew about the trip through them).
EO tours organized everything, and I thought they did a good job.

My trip was several years ago, before the pandemic, so I don’t know if anything has changed, but I was happy with it.

I was scheduled to take a tour of Israel with a company called Faith Based Expeditions in 2020. It was arranged through a local protestant church. I did not do much research on the company, but I was very impressed with how quickly we got a full refund when the trip was canceled due to the pandemic. They were also very responsive to any questions I had. I think it is worth looking into.

"but I was very impressed with how quickly we got a full refund when the trip was canceled due to the pandemic."

To me Carroll's statement is key in these times. In addition to the spiritual aspect, see how the company treated it's customers during the pandemic.

My sil has taken two Holy Land tours with EO. My sister went with her last May along with my niece and her husband. My husband and I are going to join them for their next tour planned for 2024. Obviously they think a lot of the EO tours.
