I would love suggestions on what to do for a half a day in Morocco.

Working under the assumption you are transiting via Casablanca, the biggest airport and travel hub in the country, I would try to visit the Hassan II mosque. It's the third biggest in the world, after the ones in Mecca and Medina, so the largest one that non Muslims can visit. Casablanca also has a small medina you can visit which (in my experience) is a bit less touristy than the ones in e.g. Marrakech.
