Can somebody tell me which accommodation I should choose to stay while studying in UNSW (university of new south wales) - Canberra campus? I can spend up to $125 to $130 per week not more than that..? I have heard from someone that $130 won't be enough to have an accommodation, what should I do then, is there any option I can pay money in instalments or get some discounts on rent?

talk to the University settlement or student association they are more likely to know than folk on a travel forum.
I work for one of the worlds top 20 universities and that is my advice.

This thread properly belongs in the Beyond Europe forum, but either way, the best thing to do is contact the university student services department directly, they should be able to answer your questions. If you've been accepted at the UNSW they should have sent you some kind of information packet with the options for housing.

canberra is a decent size city , so there 'should' be plenty of accomodation options. as others have mentioned, contact the uni, for more info.

Obviously with such a small budget you will need to share a place. Just try googling share accommodation Canberra. In addition to the websites mentioned above, try www.gumtree.com.au.
