Honolulu Airport Transfers

I'm taking my son to Hawaii in September and arriving in Honolulu on the 25th, staying a couple of nights in Waikiki. Rather than a standard taxi (past history was long wait), I've heard people say they had a round-trip arrangement with a private carrier to meet them at baggage claim and take them to their hotel, then pick them up at the hotel on their departure date and take them back to the hotel. Online there are many of these companies listed and I'd like to ask if anyone out there has successfully used one of these and if so, their name or contact info. Thank you.

We used IES Shuttle (Island Express Shuttle) in March and were very pleased. They emailed our tickets to us, with clear instructions where to wait to be picked up and what time to expect them. Once we were in Honolulu there was great communication for both pickups letting us know how many minutes away they were. Our drivers pointed out things along the drive, so felt like we got a mini tour. The total price for the two of us round trip plus taxes and fees was $100.52.

Another vote for Charley's Taxis. Lately my cousin has been picking me up. But before that I used them. If memory serves you book online and prepay. When you land you call and they pick you up curbside. You don't go to the taxi rank. You still end up waiting a few minutes since the driver needs to come from the cell lot (or its equivalent) to pick you up.

Hello,

One other option. If you book your hotel through Costco Travel, the Waikiki packages usually include a roundtrip shuttle. That's what we did and it was a good choice for us.
