Hi Travelers,
My husband and I will be going to Montreal from July 28th - August 1st for a quick, but much needed, vacation. We live in Chicago, IL, USA so the flight will be pretty short (~2.5 hours). This will be a redo for our honeymoon as our first honeymoon was cut short . Originally we were supposed to spend 3.5 weeks in Europe. Then the pandemic . Then we decided to explore the Pacific NW (USA) and that trip was cut short due to forest fires. Well a few years and kids later we're finally able to take one!
I'm writing to see if anyone has any hole-in the wall or mom and pop recommendations on places to stay in Montreal? We're thinking of staying in their Old Town area, but are pretty open. We're not planning on doing super touristy things while we're in Montreal [ironic since we're staying in Old Town :) ]. Any other trip recommendations are welcome too!
