Hello! I read that the HCMC Airport arrivals are very slow. Is that true for domestic arrivals? Do I need to use Fast Track for a domestic arrivals on Vietnam Airlines from Hanoi? Thanks!

I flew in at 5pm from Hanoi and it wasn't too bad until we tried to get a Grab. That was a zoo. Very different from when we arrived from SFO at 5am to an empty arrivals desk.

Just to be clear, the issue isn't really the waiting to order your Grab. That is really easy and quick. The issue is that at peak times, there are thousands of other people getting picked by thousands of other drivers. Grab drivers and non-Grab drivers get caught in the same slow line of cars.

Besides Grab, you can also take a taxi (Vinasun or Mai Linh is a good brand).
