My question is pretty much in the title. Had checked out what I read about Jetstar flights from Gladstone to Mackay, but they must have cancelled that route. Yeppoon looks to be about half-way if driving, but the area seems to be lacking really nice hotels or B&B's.

Clarification: we are driving, and will start from Hervey Bay after flying into Brisbane. So the question is... if driving from Hervey bay to Arlie beach, where should we stop to have a nice place to stay overnight ?
