Has anyone been to Sopron, Hungary on a daytrip from Vienna?

Is it worth visiting? I have never been to Hungary but thought about going to Sopron since we will be in Vienna in Oct. and we will have a rental car. From mapquest it looks easy to get to from Vienna. Thanks!
