I used a Hanoi Kids guide for a city and food tour (they offer different itineraries now). It was a delight to meet a young person and learn about their life in Hanoi. It is a free tour other than paying for their food and admissions if you go in a tourist site, or make a contribution to the organization after the tour. https://hanoikids.org/
