I looked at a 2 day cruise for theses places on Booking.com and the price quoted is all over the place. Not sure how to vet them. Any recommendations on how to vet them as well as any recommendations on a particular cruise based on personal experience? Thanks in advance.

We had a wonderful cruise on Halong Bay on the Valentine. I think there were four cabins for guests. The chef prepared delicious meals and also led us in Tai Chi. No one wanted to leave the boat! Fabulous experience!

We did a two night cruise of Halong Bay with Bhaya Cruises- this was 5 or 6 years ago. It was fabulous. The boat was clean, nice, but not "fancy" and food was excellent. We went with another couple friend and I think there were two other couples there, if memory serves? Plus a child (8 years old or so). We booked with this company because friends who lived in Vietnam for 9 years had suggested them.
