Anyone have suggestions on a good tour of Morocco? We are in our early 70's but good walkers. Cooler weather , 7 to 10 days. We have been to Tangers on a day trip out of Spain, 5 years ago, and found it interesting.
If you are looking for a small group tour, I would recommend Odysseys Unlimited. March would be a good time to go weather wise. This trip is on our list.
Friends had an excellent experience on their Road Scholar trip to Morocco.
Check out Friendly Planet.com-we did it last March.
We are going to Morocco inApril with Odysseys Unlimited. We had a very good tour of Vietnam with them, so chose them for Morocco. You should note that when a tour is listed as e.g., 14 days, day 1 is your flight day. Day 2, arrival, is likely no activity, as well, since much of it will be taken up with getting to lodgings and a meal. Day 14 will be your departure day. Your net touring time is 11 days. All the companies I have looked at follow this method of laying out their itineraries.
We had a wonderful tour in Morocco through National Geographic/G Adventures. Both companies offer several tours of Morocco (at least they did the last time I looked), but we took the cobranded tour between those two companies and had a wonderful experience. Multiple dates were available for the adventure which you can find on either the G Adventures website or the National Geographic tours website.
scott,
I was also going to suggest G-Adventures as they have some short and reasonably priced itineraries.
