GoLuxor Egypt Question

I have been working with Mike at Go Luxor to plan a trip to Egypt in late January 2023. I've read reviews on this Forum about Go Luxor and they seem good, particularly the review from Tammy. Mike and I have been communicating on What's App?

Now i am getting ready to make a deposit (they are doing tours in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, including hotels). I'm paying Djed separately for a 4 night cruise.
Mike at Go Luxor sent me info to make the deposit and it is to him, not to Go Luxor. This seems strange to me. I can contact Go Luxor at their phone number but am wondering if any of you have had this same experience w/ them? I generally book everything myself when I travel but thought I needed an experienced travel company for Egypt.

We booked Egypt in January with Gate 1 Tours. Check them out, they provide great service, hotels, tours, etc. for super low prices.

Be careful with small tour companies, check them out carefully.

We used Odyssey's Unlimited, excellent experience. I understand your concern about sending a payment to an individual.
Regarding your itinerary, I highly recommend sailing on Lake Nasser where so many of the antiquities are located. We sailed right up to Abu Simbel.

Hi, We did a 17 day Egypt/Jordan with Nile cruise with Gate 1 in March. It was FABULOUS. They have many other time/destination options. As previously suggested, check them out. No funny business at all. Cathy

HI Marilyn, missed this on the day you posted, but I think you are the Marilyn I have spoken with via WhatsApp. I would not worry with Go Luxor Tours, they are a professional company. Enjoy your trip with them and tell Michael I said hi!
