Getting QR Code For Kenya

Hi all,
For those who have traveled to Kenya recently did you have a QR code documenting your vaccinations and if so who issued it to you? Has anyone been able to enter Kenya with a white vaccination card rather than a QR code? We've been trying to get a QR code through Global Haven which is the suggested site by the Kenya Embassy. TIA

The Delta website has a great feature with a map and you fill in data like flight plans and citizenship and vaccine status and it tells you what the country (Kenya) requires. Then continue with it and it tells you how to processes your vaccine data.

Also, I am sure the Kenyan Government provides the same information.

Although I haven't been to Kenya, I encountered a similar issue when I went to Egypt last fall. The issue seems to be that in Africa there are a lot of issues with fake vaccination records and unauthorized testing sites. Egypt was willing to accept a PCR test with a QR code in lieu of a QR code on my vaccination card. You might want to check to see if the same rule applies in Kenya.

My thrice-vaccinated friend who was traveling with me on the Egypt trip did not have a QR code on her PCR result, and she almost didn't make it onto the plane. At the last minute, after I had already boarded the plane, she found out that the CDC had some kind of survey that vaccinated people could take. The survey generated a QR code, and it was enough to keep the authorities happy. I wish I knew the exact URL for that survey. She made it onto the plane just as the doors were getting ready to close. Phew!

By the way, nobody checked to see what the QR code actually did. They just wanted to see a QR code on either a vaccination card or a PCR test.

Try this link for the "Africa CDC" - https://trustedtravel.panabios.org/trusted-testing/signup/

I am headed to S Africa in 3 weeks and they too require a QR code. I have my CO one but not sure it will be accepted. This link was provided by a friend who had just returned from S Africa and who got caught at the airport since this requirement was only recently introduced (early part of May). I was able to generate a QR code fairly easily using this link.
