Georgia (country) itinerary help

Hello all,
I've browsed the forum and seen some (but not many) posts on Georgia, so this may be a shot in the dark. My husband and I are taking a somewhat last-minute trip there this June. We have 10 nights.

The current plan is:
-Tbilisi 4 nights (with probably 1-2 day trips)
-Sighnagi 3 nights (I have a guesthouse booked for 2 nights, then am considering either one night at the Lost Inn Brewery or at a fancy wine hotel near Telavi)
-Kazbegi 2 nights (this is booked and we don't plan to change it)
-Back to Tbilisi 1 night before flying out noon the next day

Questions are:
-Am I missing anything? I'd love to fit in Martvilli Canyon and Vardzia but they both seem like looooooong day trips from Tbilisi. Or do we add one night in Kutaisi to do that? (Maybe take a night from Tbilisi).
-We are planning to drive to Sighnagi and the Georgia Military Highway to Kazbegi. Is this stupid? We are confident drivers, living in Jordan, and I've been told that the driving is like it is here. But we don't drive through mountain passes regularly, either.

Thank you!

Georgia is a wonderful country. I was mesmerized by its nature, culture, and food. Staying in Kutaisi for a night is actually a great idea if you want to visit Martvili or Vardzia. By the way, if you are looking for an apartment to rent, I would recommend this service https://www.dgiurad.ge/ they have great offers for apartments to rent all around Georgia. Enjoy your trip!

As someone who has personally experienced the beauty of Kazbegi, I can confidently say that the journey is well worth it.
While the mountain roads may seem daunting at first, with your confidence as experienced drivers, I believe you'll have no trouble navigating them. The key is to take it slow, enjoy the journey, and soak in the incredible natural beauty that Georgia has to offer.
And last but not least I would highly recommend adding a night in Kutaisi to your itinerary to visit the stunning Martvili Canyon and the historic Vardzia cave complex. This will allow you to fully experience the natural and cultural wonders of this region.
If you haven't booked your accommodations yet, I can highly recommend checking out the rental service Bina24.ge. They offer a wide range of affordable and comfortable rental options throughout Georgia, including in Kutaisi. This could be a great way to find a convenient and budget-friendly place to stay during your visit.
